Amanda Hirschberg is the founder of Fit and Match College Consulting, where she guides students and families through the college admissions process with a focus on reducing stress and ensuring an organized, intentional journey. Her passion for college counseling was ignited by her own experience navigating the process with her daughter, inspiring her to help other families make informed decisions that align with each student's unique strengths and aspirations.

Amanda is a dedicated professional in the field of college counseling, currently completing the UCLA Extension College Counseling Certificate Program, as well as additional specialized courses in essay coaching. She is an Associate Member of the Independent Educational Consultants Association (IECA), attended the IECA's 2024 Summer Training Institute and is a member of Higher Education Consultants Association (HECA) as well.

With a Juris Doctorate from Fordham University School of Law and a B.A. from the University of Vermont, Amanda brings a unique blend of legal expertise and academic insight to her practice. This diverse background enhances her ability to provide strategic, thoughtful guidance to students navigating the complex admissions landscape.

As a member of the IECA, Amanda adheres to their rigorous Principles of Good Practice and ethical standards, ensuring that her clients receive the highest level of service. She is committed to staying at the forefront of college admissions trends by regularly attending industry conferences, visiting campuses, and participating in ongoing professional development.
